The iPhone has changed our society most in the last 20 years. Handheld technology has drastically changed, and has shaped our world and culture. The invention of the iPhone changed the way people communicate, and interact. Smartphones have been so influential, that it has become one of the most controversial topics, which smart phone is better? Personally, I am a fan of iPhones and Apple products as a whole. But other people will argue with that saying that Samsung is better and Apple is poor software. The iPhone has changed society because we depend on our phones for our basic functioning. We let it decide how to get where we need to go, we have it contact people for us, we even let it decide where we will eat. I love technology but I also think that it is toxic for society if we abuse it.

Dear Kaylin,
I am writing to you from the 11th grade. This is your very first year of high school and there's so many things that you haven't learned and need to experience. Although this year is going to be full of a lot of ups and downs and sadness, it will all be worth it because this year you will learn that the you that you're trying to be is not who you are meant to be. The girl that you will become from these lessons that you are going to learn throughout this year is so much better than what you would have expected. This year you're going to fall in love. You may not know it at first and they may not feel that way yet either, but keep trying and never give up because it will be worth it in the end. Something I want to tell you is that you should stop doubting yourself and realize your potential because it's better to understand that sooner rather than later. Also, don't try to fit in with the crowds that you think you belong with. It's better for you to have a couple of close friends than have a lot of acquaintances. Don't fall into the pressure that people may put on you either, it'll just get you into trouble. And one last lesson before I go, don't ruin your lungs like all the other kids do. Sincerely, Kaylin Steichen |
